Living in the Bay Area, we don’t have to look far to see how plentiful is the harvest of souls, and how few the workers. As a community, we pray with the Church daily for an increase of vocations to the priesthood, permanent diaconate and religious life. But we need you!
The Archdiocese of San Francisco has organized a day of prayer for vocations. The four cloistered monasteries located within the Archdiocese will be holding adoration for vocations February 4 – 5; three of the monasteries, including ours, will hold adoration for the full 24 hours. Will you commit to spend one hour with Jesus and pray for vocations? The Archdiocese has posted a website where you can sign up for an hour. You can connect to the sign-up sheet here for our monastery.
Please join us before the Blessed Sacrament and invite others as well! And after the Mass on the morning of February 5th, you are invited to meet the nuns in the parlor over coffee and pastries.
Pray, invite, encourage. If not you, then who?
